Disposal of the appliance

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol placed on the product and on the

accompanying documentation indicates that the product itself is subject to

Directive2012/19/EUwhichregulatesthecollection, the management,the

processingandthedisposalofelectricalandelectronicequipmentwaste(WEEE).

When the product reaches the end of its lifetime must therefore not be disposed of as

a common mixed urban waste but it must be subject to sorted collection at authorized

collection centers.

Responsibledisposalofelectricalandelectronicequipmentwastehelpstoeasethematerial

resourcessustainablerecyclingandreuse,aswellastoavoidpossibledamagestothe

environmentandtohumanhealthcausedbyuncontrolledwastedisposal.

ThemunicipalitiesorganizesortedcollectioncentersspecializedforWEEE.Formore

detailedinformationregardingtheWEEEcollectionandpick-upsystems,itispossibleto

refertoyourownmunicipalityortothelocalhouseholdwastedisposalservice.

Moreover,atthetimeofpurchaseofanewequivalentequipmentintendedtobeusedina

householdenvironment,thecustomerhastherighttofreelylend,attherateofoneonone,

theusedequipmenttothedistributorwhichwillprovideforitsdisposalasrequiredbylaw.

Professionalpurchasersareexhortedtocontacttheirownsuppliertocheckthetermsand

conditions of the purchase contract.
