SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read these operating instructions before attempting to connect or operate the appliance.
2. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place for future reference.
3. Observe the warning logos on the device and the warnings in these operating instructions.
4. The device must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no objects filled with liquids, such
as vases, may be placed on the product. Only use in dry regions.
5. Do not place flames such as candles on the appliance and keep the appliance away from heat
sources.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
7. Do not obstruct the ventilation by covering the ventilation openings.
8. Ensure that the device is connected to a standard household AC:230V socket for operation using the
power cable supplied. Using a voltage other than that specified on the rating plate may cause the
device to malfunction. Switch off the device before disconnecting it from the mains.
9. Only use accessories and spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
10. Install the device in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
11. Only install the device in sufficiently ventilated areas.
12. Place the device on a flat and stable surface.
13. Do not expose to temperatures above 40 °C.
14. When setting up the device, ensure that it is 30 cm from the back and top of the device and 5 cm
from each side.
15. Do not press the device buttons with excessive force as this may cause damage.
16. Only clean the device with a dry cloth.
17. During thunderstorms or if the device is not to be used for a long period of time, disconnect it from
the power supply.
18. This product has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Only
qualified service personnel may carry out maintenance. In the event of a defect, contact your dealer
or the manufacturer's service centre.
19. Especially when children are operating the device, ensure that no objects are inserted into the device
openings, as this could result in a fatal electric shock.
20. Do not place the device near televisions, loudspeakers or other objects that generate strong
magnetic fields.
21. Do not leave the device unattended when in use.
Note:
To disconnect the device completely if it is not to be used for a longer period of time, switch off
the device and disconnect the power cable from the device.
