UNPACKING AND SETTING UP
1. Carefully remove the appliance and accessories from the carton and remove all packing material from
the device. Check that the accessories are complete.
2. Connect the power supply unit or car adapter included in the scope of delivery to the DC IN 12/24V
input of the unit. Connect the other side of the power supply unit or car adapter to the appropriate
power source.
3. Check that the toggle switch is set to “On” (I). The toggle switch is located on the underside of the
appliance.
4. Insert the two AAA batteries into the remote control. Make sure that the polarity is correct.
5. Connect your satellite system, cable system or DVB-T antenna to the TV1 (satellite) or TV2 (DVB-C /
DVB-T) connections.
6. Connect all other external devices (e.g. Blu-ray player, etc.) to the appropriate connections on the TV
set.
7. The unit is now ready for use. The functions are explained on the next pages.

Open the battery compartment
on the back of the remote control
by sliding the cover off the remote
control in the direction of the
arrow.
Note:
For the disposal of the
removed batteries, please
observe the disposal
instructions in this manual.
Remove the batteries already
inserted and insert the new
batteries into the remote control.
When inserting the batteries, pay
attention to the polarity (+/-) in
the battery compartment.
Note:
Always use only batteries of
the same type and
manufacturer.
Close the battery compartment
on the back of the remote control
by sliding the cover onto the
remote control in the direction of
the arrow.
Note:
If the unit is not going to be
used for a long period of
time, remove the batteries
from the remote control to
prevent them from leaking
and damaging the remote
control.
