8.2 Connecting the motor cable (13)

1. Connect the motor cable (13) to the connecting

cable supplied by means of a connector and make

the connection according to the following wiring

conﬁguration.

Colour scale for the motor leads (13)

L1 = (black) *

L2 = (brown) *

N = neutral terminal (blue)

L = continuous phase (grey)

PE = earth (green / yellow)

(7) = Set button on tubular motor

8.1 Safe cable routing by ﬁxing the plug connection

Connect the motor cable of the RolloTube S-line

Sun DuoFern to the connecting cable supplied

and to the mains or the desired controller (Switch/

button or Troll Comfort etc.).

Fixing the plug connection by clamping to the

retaining spring of a click drive bearing:

The retaining spring (5) should be rotated 90° to

be plugged in and re-engaged..

Connecting cable supplied.

The plug connection can be ﬁxed to the drive

bearing if required to secure the cable.

Note about releasing the plug connection

Use an appropriate tool (e.g. a small screwdriver) to

loosen the plug connection.

* The actual direction of travel of the

tubular motor and awning depends

on the direction of installation and

the wiring of the tubular motor.

Shortening the motor cable (13) can

restrict the radio range. The antenna is

also integrated in the motor cable.
