1 Introduction
The speaker systems of the KX series are high-
power active speaker systems with DSP (digital
signal processor) for professional touring
applications and permanent installations. The tops
are designed as 2-way bass-reflex systems with
separate power amplifiers for the high-frequency
range and the low-frequency range featuring
inputs for microphones and line sources. The XLR
output links further active speaker systems. With
their multifunctional housing made of a special
polypropylene composite material, they are
suitable as a full-range speaker, satellite and floor
monitor. The subwoofer system is the perfect
addition and achieves a continuous output of 1400
watts. The practical EQ presets are used for quick
and application-specific sound contouring and
allow for endfire and cardioid array configurations.
The robust 17 mm plywood enclosure is designed
for horizontal and vertical use and features a steel
front grille, two M20 threaded pole inserts,
stacking recesses and ergonomic handles.
This user manual will show you how to install and
operate the PA speaker systems. Users of this
product are recommended to carefully read all
warnings in this manual and on the unit in order to
protect yourself and others from damage.
