Safety Instructions for Preserving Cookers
Before using this appliance, read the following safety instructions and the separately
enclosed instruction manual very carefully.
Safety Instructions According to Standard
WARNING: Risk of Burns!
Even after use the surface of the heating element still has residual
heat.
• Do not fill beyond the maximum mark! Boiling water may be
ejected and cause injuries!
• The liquid level must be between the minimum mark and the
maximum mark.
• The appliance is not suitable for outdoor use.
• In order to ensure secure and proper functioning of the appliance,
only use it at ambient temperatures between 0 °C and 40 °C.
• The appliance is not suitable for installation in an area where a
water jet could be used.
• Use the appliance only on a level surface. The appliance must be
horizontally levelled and stand securely. Note the high weight of
the appliance when fully filled.
• The appliance is only to be installed in locations where it can be
overseen by trained personnel.
• Pay attention to the shelf life of perishable foods (such as milk or
eggs). Do not keep them in the container for too long.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
