General Safety Instructions
CAUTION:
• To avoid fire or explosion, do not use this appliance to remove toner from the
laser printer or copier.
• Do not vacuum up hot ash, sharp or pointed objects!
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged pur-
pose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
• The power supply unit is only suitable for use in dry rooms.
• Do not touch the connected power supply unit with wet hands!
• Switch off the appliance if not in use, when attaching accessories, for cleaning or
in the event of a fault.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water for cleaning.
• When cleaning disconnect the appliance from the power supply unit.
• Ensure that the charging cable does not become kinked, jammed, driven over or
come into contact with heat sources.
• Do not use a damaged power supply unit.
• The appliance, the power supply unit and the cable have to be checked regularly
for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician.
• Only use original accessories.
• In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags,
boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
WARNING:
Do not allow small children to play with the plastic foil. There is a danger of
suffocation!
Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Batteries (Li-Ion)
The appliance is equipped with rechargeable Li-ion batteries. This results in numer-
ous advantages compared to other batteries and rechargeable batteries:
• A high cell voltage (more volts)
• No memory effect
• A low self-discharge
