THREADING THE SEWING MACHINE
1. Make sure the “OFF / I & II speed
switch” is on the “OFF” position.
2. Raise the presser foot lifter and turn
the handwheel counterclockwise
until the needle is in its highest
position.
3. Place a thread spool onto the spool
pin, making sure that the thread rolIs
off the spool in a counterclockwise
direction. When needed, use the
thread spool pin foot and/or thread
spool cap.
4. Hook the thread through the
Upper thread guide and then
securely slip.
5. Bring the thread down through the
tension disk slot, go around the
U-turn, and bring it back up.
6. Pass the thread through the eye of
the take up lever, from right to left.
