Remedy of faults

Malfunction

Cause

Remedy

The unit does not deliver any air or the amount

delivered is insufficient.

The aeration stone has not been in the water

for long enough.

Wait. The pores of the dry aeration stone will

completely open after approx. two hours in the

water.

The aeration stone is soiled.

Clean

Air hose kinked or porous

Lay the air hose without kinks or replace.

Air hose not correctly fitted

Check the air hose.

Insufficient sunlight

No suitable operating mode selected

Check the operating mode (→ Installation and

connection)

Cleaning

NOTE

The unit will be damaged if moisture penetrates the motor compartment.

• Do not clean the unit under running water.

• Do not submerge the unit!

• Protect the air intake socket from the ingress of water.

• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they could attack the housing or impair the function

of the unit.

• Recommended cleaning agent for removing stubborn limescale deposits:

– Vinegar- and chlorine-free household cleaning agent.

• Clean the solar module with a damp cloth and wipe dry.

Wear parts

The following components are wear parts and are excluded from the warranty:

• Aeration stone and air hoses

Storage/overwintering

• Store the unit in a dry and frost-free place.

• Set the switch on the unit to the position "O".
