4.2.5 Static Routes
Setting static route rules and displaying current information on this page. The screens in Figure 4-2-5-1 and Figure 4-2-5-2
appear.

The Static Routes Settings include the following fields:
Object
Description
Destination IP Address
Configure the destination IP network or host address for this route. The valid
formats are dotted decimal notation or valid IPv6 notation. A default route can use
the value 0.0.0.0 or the IPv6 : : notation.
Net Mask/ Prefix
Length
Configure the destination IP network or host mask, in number of bits (prefix
length). It defines how much of network address that must match, in order to
qualify for this route. Valid values are between 0 and 32 bits respectively 128 for
IPv6 routes. Only a default route will have a mask length of 0 (as it will match
anything).
Next Hop
Configure the first gateway along the route to the destination.

The VLAN Interfaces status Information includes the following fields:

Address/ Mask
Display the destination IP network or host address and mask for this route.
Next Hop
Display the first gateway along the route to the destination.
State
Display the current status of the static route.
Buttons
: Click to add a new IP route. A maximum of 32 routes are supported.
: Click to delete the selected IP route.
