4.2.2 IP Configurations
The IPv4 Configuration includes the IPv4 Interface Setting and Vlan interface status. Fill out the IPv4 Address and Subnet Mask
for the VLAN interface. The maximum number of interfaces supported is 64.The screens in Figure 4-2-2-1 to Figure 4-2-2-3
appear.
The configured column is used to specify the VLAN ID to which you would like to assign the IPv4 interface.

The IPv4 Interface Settings include the following fields:

Description
VLAN Interface
Choose the VLAN ID to which you would like to add the IPv4 interface.
Mode
Indicates the IP address mode operation. Possible modes are:
Static: Enable NTP mode operation.
When enabling NTP mode operation, the agent forwards and transfers
NTP messages between the clients and the server when they are not on
the same subnet domain.
DHCP: Enable DHCP client mode operation.
Enable the DHCP client by checking this box. If DHCP fails and the
configured IP address is zero, DHCP will retry. If DHCP fails and the
configured IP address is non-zero, DHCP will stop and the configured IP
settings will be used. The DHCP client will announce the configured
System Name as hostname to provide DNS lookup.
IP Address
The IPv4 address of the interface is expressed in dotted decimal notation.
If DHCP is enabled, this field configures the fallback address.
Subnet Mask
The IPv4 network mask of the interface can be represented in either a number
of bits (prefix length) or in dotted decimal notation.
If DHCP is enabled, this field configures the fallback address.
