7.5 Programme «
DRUM CLEAN »
Contaminations and bacterial residues may accumulate in the washing drum
and
/ or hoses of the appliance after some time, especially then you mainly use low
temperature programmes.
The washing drum should be cleaned at least once a month.
The programme « DRUM CLEAN (Ger.: Trommelreinigung) » cleans the outside and
inside of the washing drum.
For cleaning the drum, you can add a fair amount of chlorine bleach to the
washing machine (please always observe to the information given by the
manufacturer of the chlorine bleach).
Do not use any additional washing agent.
Do not wash any textiles / laundry when using this programme.
HOW TO START THE PROGRAMME « DRUM CLEAN »
1 Open t
he water tap.
2 Close the door of the appliance.
3 Set the programme «
DRUM CLEAN (Ger.: Trommelreinigung) » using the ROTARY
KNOB
. The washing machine is now switched on and in STANDBY MODE.
4 The time display indicates the duration of the programme (hours : minutes)

5 Press the «
START / PAUSE » - BUTTON to start the cleaning programme.
6 The door lock will be activated automatically. The operational status indicator
of the door lock «
» goes on.
7 When the cleaning programme is finished, the display indicates «
END » and an
acoustic signal sounds (if activated).
8 The door lock is deactivated automatically after approx. 2 minutes. The
operational status indicator of the door lock «
» goes off.
9 When the cleaning programme is finished, turn the
ROTARY KNOB for programme
selection back to «
OFF » to switch off the appliance completely.
10 Close the water tap.
