4.4 Setting and starting of a washing programme
NOTICE! Do not overload the appliance. Always observe the maximum
load for the respective programmes; see chapter 4.2 T
HE WASHING
PROGRAMMES
.
After starting a programme, the display of the appliance briefly indicates « ---- ».
This means: at the beginning of a programme, the appliance detects the weight
of the laundry and adjusts the washing time automatically.
It is also possible that the current running time of the set washing programme is
adjusted automatically (depending on the washing situation, load, additionally
selected functions, etc.) so that it may vary from the specified programme
duration.
HOW TO SET AND START A WASHING PROGRAMME
1. Load
the drum.
2. Fill the detergent(s) into the relevant sections of the dispenser according to the
desired programme.
3. Open the tap.
4. Set the desired programme using the
ROTARY KNOB. The washing machine is now
switched on and in
STANDBY MODE.
5. The
TIME DISPLAY indicates the duration of the programme (hours : minutes)

6. Additionally, further functions such as temperature, spin speed, delay, etc. can be
selected by pressing the corresponding buttons (s. chapter 4.4.1 S
ELECTION OF
THE ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
).
7. Press the «
START / PAUSE » - BUTTON to start the washing programme.
8. The door lock will be activated automatically. The operational status indicator of
the door lock goes on: «
».
9. When the programme is finished, the time display indicates the word «
END » and
an acoustic signal sounds (if the acoustic signals are activated / see also chapter
4.4.1 S
ELECTION OF THE ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS).
10. The door lock is deactivated automatically after approx. 2 minutes. The
operational status indicator of the door lock goes off: «
».
11. When the programme is finished, always turn the
ROTARY KNOB for the
programme selection back to «
OFF » to switch off the appliance completely
(see also chapter 4.6 E
