2.7 Connection to the mains
DANGER! Do not connect the appliance to the mains if the appliance
itself or the power cord or the plug are visibly damaged. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
DANGER! Never touch the power plug, the power switch or other
electrical components with wet or damp hands. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
CAUTION! Before connecting the appliance to the mains, leave it at
room temperature for approx. 2 hours so that the appliance can adjust to
the ambient temperature.
Oper
ate the appliance with 220
– 240 V AC / 50 Hz only.
The technical data of your energy supply must meet the data on the rating label.
The main current circuit must be equipped with a safety shut-down device.
Your household power supply must meet the power consumption of the
appliance.
Do not use an extension cord, a socket board or a multi socket. RISK OF FIRE!
When connecting do not use adapters, reducers and branching devices as they
cause overheating. RISK OF FIRE!
Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance, if it will not fit the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a qualified professional (electrical engineer).

When the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or an authorised aftersales service or a qualified professional (electrical engineer)
only.
After installation, the power plug and the safety socket must always be easily
accessible.
The plug must always be accessible after installation. Connect the appliance
with the safety plug to a properly grounded and dedicated safety socket
only.
If you are in doubt as to whether the appliance is connected to the mains
properly, let the electrical connection be checked by a qualified
professional (electrical engineer): not covered by the guarantee!).
NOTICE! Any damage caused by an appliance that is not connected to
the mains properly is not subject to the guarantee!
