NOTICE! Aggressive detergents such as abrasive detergents, vinegar
cleaners, etc. damage the surface of the extractor hood.
6.1 Cleaning of aluminium grease filters
WARNING! Failure to follow the cleaning instructions will increase the
RISK OF FIRE due to fat deposits.
NOTICE! The colour of the metal surface may change due to frequent
cleaning as well as the use of aggressive detergents. Such changes do
not influence the capacity of the appliance and are no reason for
complaint.
NOTICE! Do not damage the grid of metal-made (aluminium) grease
filters.

❖ Clean the aluminium grease filters by hand or in a dishwasher regularly (up to
30 °C).
❖ Do not use any acrid or corrosive detergents.
❖ Do not use any abrasive detergents!
❖ Do not use any alkaline dishwasher-detergents! (pH more than 7).
CLEANING INTERVAL FOR ALUMINIUM GREASE FILTERS
➢ Every 2 - 3 weeks according to the frequency of use of the extractor hood.
HOW TO DEINSTALL / INSTALL THE ALUMINIUM GREASE FILTERS
This section only describes a standard example of uninstalling / installing an
aluminium grease filter. Modifications are possible.
1. Lift the cover (A) of the extractor hood to open the appliance (s. fig. below,
direction of arrow). Behind the cover is the aluminium grease filter.
2. Press the locking button (B) on the handle (C) of the aluminium grease filter (D)
to release the grease filter from its lock (s. fig. below). Then remove the
aluminium grease filter (D) and clean it as described in this chapter.

The number of aluminium grease filters depends on the model of the extractor hood. The
number of grease filters for your appliance model is indicated in the chapter « TECHNICAL DATA ».
