12. Reinstall the water drain plug inside the freezer (s. fig. below, black arrow)!
13. Wipe and dry the appliance (in- and outside) and the door seals using dry and
soft cloths. Dry thoroughly!
14. After cleaning leave the door open for a while to aerate the appliance.
15. Connect the appliance to the mains again.
16. If needed, set a new cooling or freezing temperature (s. chapter 4.6
TEMPERATURE SETTING et seq.)
NOTICE! After the defrosting process, do not forget to properly
reinstall the water drain plug inside the appliance!
NOTICE! If the appliance has been disconnected from the mains for a
longer period of time, allow the appliance to cool down for 3 until 4 hours
at following temperature setting before you place any fresh or frozen
food in the appliance: fridge mode = +4 °C / freezer mode = -18 °C (s.
chapter 4.6 TEMPERATURE SETTING et seq.). If you place food in the
appliance before it has reached its normal operating temperature, the
food can thaw and / or spoil.
