5. Installation
5.1 Ventilation
Minimum clearances for proper ventilation:
A. Back↔ Wall
Min. 50 mm
B. Both sides↔ Piece of furniture/wall
Min. 50 mm
5.2 Choice of location
12. Carefully unpack the appliance. Be sure to follow the instructions for disposing
of the appliance in the DISPOSAL chapter.
13. The appliance may be protected with transport locks for transportation.
Remove these completely. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents to remove
the remains of the transport locks.
14. Set up the device in a suitable location at an appropriate distance from sources
of extreme heat or cold.
15. Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains connection cable or the
appliance itself is not damaged.
16. Choose a dry and well-ventilated room for the installation.
17. Protect the device from direct sunlight.
18. It must be possible to open the doors completely and unhindered.
19. Set the appliance on a level, dry and firm surface. Use a spirit level to check
that the appliance is set up correctly.
20. The device must be properly connected to the power supply.
21. The rating plate is located inside the appliance or on the outside of the rear panel.
22. Do not fill your drinks cooler too full to ensure proper cooling.
Note: If your drinks cooler has been tilted for any reason, wait 24 hours
before connecting it to the mains.
