2. Installation
DANGER! THE APPLIANCE MUST BE INSTALLED AND CONNECTED
TO THE GAS SUPPLY BY A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL ONLY, WHO
KNOWS AND FOLLOWS CAREFULLY ALL LEGAL REGULATIONS AND
THE ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS GIVEN BY THE LOCAL GAS SUPPLIER.
2.1 Unpacking and positioning
1. Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in chapter
waste management.
2. Completely remove the transport-protection. Be very careful and do not use any
aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove residuals of the transport-protection.
3. Check that the appliance and the power cord are not visible damaged.
4. Do not install the appliance in a place where it may come in contact with water or
rain; otherwise the insulation of the electrical system will be damaged.
5. Install the appliance on a level, dry and solid floor. Check the correct installation
with a bubble level.
2.2 Instructions for the installer
The following instructions are intended for a qualified professional so they can
carry out the installation, adjustment and service relevant to the current regulations.
Modifications relevant for the operating mode (incl. disconnecting) of the appliance
must be carried out with great care.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by an installation
which does not meet the current local and legal regulations.
Only install and operate the appliance in permanently-ventilated rooms. The room must
be well-ventilated; otherwise the appliance does not operate properly. The inflowing air
must come through openings of the outer walls. The openings must not be blocked at
any time (outside as well as inside). Installation and maintenance must be carried out by
a qualified professional only relevant to the current local and legal regulations.
