If the appliance exhibits faults other than those described above, or if you have
checked all the points on the list but the problem could not be resolved, please
contact customer service.
IF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE HOOD IS INSUFFICIENT AND / OR INCREASED
OPERATING NOISE CAN BE HEARD, THIS MAY BE DUE TO THE FOLLOWING
CAUSES.
IN EXHAUST AIR MODE
➢ Insufficient size of the exhaust air duct.
➢ A blockage in the exhaust air duct.
➢ The diameter of the exhaust air duct from the hood to the wall box inclusive
should be 150/160 mm (see chapter " TECHNICAL DATA "), otherwise the
performance of the motor may be impaired.
➢ If you have fitted a fly screen to the wall box, this may impair the air flow. Remove
the screen to check.
➢ If there are fixed and very slanted slats on the cover plate of the wall conduct,
this can impair the air flow. Remove the cover plate to check.
➢ Fit a cover plate with movable louvres that least restrict the air flow.
➢ Check the condition and cleanliness of the filters.
➢ Check that the air extracted by the kitchen hood is replaced so that there is no
negative pressure.
IN RECIRCULATION MODE
➢ Check the condition and cleanliness of the filters.
➢ If you use the hood in recirculation mode, check that the charcoal filters have
been changed in good time (at least every 3 - 6 months).
