CLEANING AN ALUMINUM GREASE FILTER IN THE DISHWASHER
❖ Aluminum grease filters can also be cleaned in the dishwasher: Normal program
(up to 65 °C).
Do not place the aluminum grease filter in the dishwasher together with dirty
dishes. Allow the aluminum grease filter to dry thoroughly before carefully
reinserting it.
NOTE! Aluminum grease filters clogged with food residue are not
covered by the warranty!
6.2 Carbon filter
WARNING: Always switch off the appliance before fitting carbon filters
and disconnect it from the power supply (appropriate fuse in the house
fuse box).
CARBON FILTERS for your extractor hood are available as optional accessories.
❖ Conventional carbon filters cannot be cleaned.
❖ These filters have a limited absorption capacity and are usually used up after
approx. 3 months.
❖ Replace a used filter immediately. Further information can be found on the filter
packaging.
REPLACEMENT INTERVAL FOR CARBON FILTERS
➢ At least every 3 - 6 months depending on the frequency of use of the extractor
hood.
