CLEANING INTERVAL FOR ALUMINUM GREASE FILTERS
➢ Every 2 - 3 weeks according to the frequency of use of the extractor hood.
DEINSTALLATION / INSTALLATION OF AN ALUMINUM GREASE FILTER
This section only describes a standard example of uninstalling / installing an
aluminum grease filter. Modifications are possible. A standard appliance model
with only one grease filter is used here as an example.
4. Press the grease filter towards the back of the appliance and pull it downwards at
the same time to release it from its catch (see illustration below).
5. Then remove the aluminum grease filter and clean it as described in this chapter.
6. To reinstall the cleaned aluminum grease filter, insert it properly into the
corresponding slots on the range hood. Carefully press the aluminum grease filter
into its correct position.
WARNING! The appliance may only be operated with the aluminum
grease filter inserted, otherwise grease transported by the vapour will be
deposited in the hood. FIRE HAZARD!
NOTE! Any damage caused by an uninstalled or improperly installed
aluminum grease filter is not covered by the warranty.

6. Soak the aluminum grease filter in rinsing water (warm; up to 65 °C).
7. Then clean the aluminum grease filter with a soft brush. Make sure that you do
not damage the grid of the aluminum grease filter when cleaning.
8. Rinse the aluminum grease filter thoroughly with hot water after cleaning.
