3. The minimum distances do not specify a mandatory overall installation height,
but only a minimum value that is created by adding the height of the cooktop
(floor ↔ cooktop) and the required minimum distance of the corresponding type
of cooktop to the extractor hood (cooktop ↔ extractor hood), i.e. applies:
(floor ↔ hob / stove)

4. Adjust the overall installation height to the user's height. Please note that the
extraction efficiency of the appliance may be reduced at a very large distance from
the cooktop.
WARNING! Never install below the minimum installation height. If
the minimum distances are not observed, the grease accumulated in the
filters can ignite due to the heat radiation from the cooktop. FIRE
HAZARD!
CAUTION! Every user must take care not to bump their head on the
corners and edges of the extractor hood; otherwise BRUISES AND
INJURIES TO THE EYE AREA may occur!
