Security
This tab can be found under the Network Settings menu.
The security tab provides a means of securing the
DMP1616 against unauthorized changes. Through the
DMP1616’s onboard software these accounts can be
created for use of the Asystems remote software.
Network Properties
When using the DMP1616 remote software – either
within the local area network or through the internet – the
network settings need to be set appropriately to allow
external computers to identify and connect to it.
The IP address of DMP1616 can be set via the system
hardware (rear panel) or the software (remote control
software).
Set via System Hardware
When the IP address is set via the hardware, the on
screen display will show the following:
Device Name: The name of the current device is found
here, and it can be adjusted by the user, if necessary.
IP Address: The actual IP address of DMP1616 will
automatically be detected and shown here. User can
manually adjust the IP address through the rear panel.
Set via Software
