6.7.4 Connecting voltage measurement
Use suitable cables to connect the voltage measuring device. Suitable cables have double
or reinforced insulation and are appropriate for the system voltage.
Installation and connection of the cables must be short-circuit-proof and ground-fault-proof.
Tap the voltage at suitable points in the string combiner box in parallel. Connect the nega-
tive and positive poles to the corresponding connection terminal blocks.
Voltage measurements can be used in photovoltaic systems grounded on the positive or
negative side as well as in ungrounded photovoltaic systems with voltages up to
1500 V DC.
The specified measuring accuracy applies to the 100 to 1500 V DC measuring range.
In the control cabinet, snap the device onto a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with
DIN EN 50022.
