6.2 Parallel operation

Power supplies of the same type can be connected in parallel for redundancy and to in-

crease performance.

Activate the “Parallel operation” check box if you wish to connect your power supply in par-

allel.

In parallel operation, specify the voltage drop between no-load operation and nominal load

as -0.5 V so as to ensure optimum current distribution.

If the “Parallel operation” check box is not activated, the voltage drop between no-load op-

eration and nominal load is set to -0.1 V by default.

6.3 Lock button on front

There are two buttons on the front of the power supply, 0(-), 9(+). With these buttons, you

can set the output voltage manually.

In order to avoid manual changes to the voltage, the software offers the option of locking the

buttons. To do this, activate the “Lock button on front” check box.
