Depending on the terminal function, not all of the jumpers listed in Figure 8-2 are
present on a terminal. Please refer to the circuit diagram of the terminal to see
which jumpers are available for a terminal and how they are internally connected.
The circuit diagram is shown in the terminal-specific data sheet.
PE
(120 V AC/230 V AC area)
The PE potential jumper is used in the 120 V AC/230 V AC area. It must be connected to
protective ground via the corresponding connection at the power terminal for these volt-
age areas.
