Sensor Figure 12-9, detail A, shows the detection of a sensor signal schematically. The SW

NOTE: Malfunction due to potential shifts
Supply the sensors and U
S
of the Inline station from the same power supply. Make
sure that there is at least one common GND as reference potential.
This will prevent potential shifts, which can have undesirable effects on the function
of the station.
Actuator Figure 12-9, detail B, shows the connection of an actuator. The actuator is supplied by
output OUT1. The load is switched directly via the output.
NOTE: Malfunction due to potential shifts
Make sure that GND of the actuators and GND of the supply voltage U

, which sup-
ply the actuators, have the same potential.
This will prevent potential shifts, which can have undesirable effects on the function
of the station.
