– Slot 3 offers the option of varying the amount of process data (PROFIsafe messages)
to be transmitted using the modules available in the module catalog (see item C in
Figure B-3 on page 74 ).
– Slot 3 must be selected in the bus configuration in order to set the PROFIsafe address
(“F_Dest_Add”) of the safe PROFINET gateway in the “Device Details” window (D).
When slot 2 is selected (B in Figure B-4) the modules available are displayed in the module
catalog (D). The process data can be seen in the “Device Details” window (E).

The assginment of slots 0-3 must be identical for both parts of the safe PROFINET gateway.
