11 Warning codes

If a warning is shown on the device, the “PWR/STO/ERR” LED flashes red. In the event of

an STO warning, the “PWR/STO/ERR” LED flashes green.

1 UV – under voltage warning Undervoltage (UV) DC link circuit under warning level

Tripping and reset

Tripping condition for warning 230 V AC models:

150 V AC ... 240 V AC input: <195 V DC

110 V AC ... 149 V AC input: <100 V DC

480 V AC models:

300 V AC ... 480 V AC: <390 V DC

220 V AC ... 299 V AC: <195 V DC

Tripping time Immediate tripping when the DC link circuit voltage is lower

than this level.

Reset method Auto

Reset condition Automatically reset when the DC link circuit voltage is higher

than the reset level.

230 V AC models:

150 V AC ... 240 V AC input: >210 V DC

110 V AC ... 149 V AC input: >105 V DC

480 V AC models:

300 V AC ... 480 V AC: >420 V DC

220 V AC ... 299 V AC: >210 V DC

Cause Remedial measures

Power failure Improve the power supply conditions.

Power voltage changes Adjust the voltage of the CONTACTRON Speed Starter’s power

range setting.

Motor start with large capacity Check the load.

Increase the power of the power supply devices.

Load is too large. Reduce the load.

Increase the CONTACTRON Speed Starter’s capacity.

Increase the acceleration time.
