If the CONTACTRON Speed Starter operates at the rated cur-

rent, the ambient temperature must be between -20°C ... 55°C.

If the temperature is above 55°C, decrease 2.5% of the rated

current for every 1°C increase in temperature. The maximum al-

lowable temperature is 60°C.

Installation altitude If the CONTACTRON Speed Starter is installed at an altitude of

0 m ... 1000 m, normal operational limitations apply. For alti-

tudes of 1000 m ... 2000 m, decrease the Speed Starter’s rated

current by 1% or lower the temperature by 0.5°C for every

100 m increase in altitude. If installing at an altitude higher than

2000 m is required, contact Phoenix Contact for more informa-

tion.
