Cause Remedial measures

Check if the ambient temperature or

temperature inside the control

cabinet is too high, or if there is an

obstruction in the ventilation hole of

the control cabinet.

Check the ambient temperature.

Regularly inspect the ventilation hole of the control cabinet.

Change the installation location if there are heat sources in the surroundings.

Install/add a cooling fan or air conditioner to lower the temperature inside the

control cabinet.

Check if there is any obstruction on

the heatsink or if the fan is running.

Remove the obstruction or replace the cooling fan.

Insufficient ventilation space Increase the ventilation space of the CONTACTRON Speed Starter.

Check if the

CONTACTRON Speed Starter

matches the corresponding load.

Reduce the load.

Reduce the carrier frequency.

Replace the CONTACTRON Speed Starter with a model that has a higher perfor-

mance class.
