6. Hook the carrying handles into the left and right side of the DC
power module.
• To do so, move the carrying handles upwards until the locking pins
lock.
• Check the locking for correct functioning.
Position of the persons performing the work 7. Removing the DC power module.
• It takes at least two persons to remove the DC power module.
As an alternative, a lifting device can be used.
• Observe the specified positions.
• Do not linger below the pulled-out DC power module.
• Pull the DC power module out of the module shaft in parallel and
put it down gently.
8. Close the empty module shaft with a blind cover or insert a new DC
power module.
• To insert a new DC power module, proceed as described in “Insert-
ing DC power modules” on page 61.
