8.3 Removing DC power modules

For inserting DC power modules, proceed as described in “Inserting DC power modules” on

page 61.

Removing DC power modules

1. Switch off the DC power module to be removed

by means of the

button in the front plate.

On = Pushbutton pushed in (pushbutton pressed)

Off = Pushbutton not pushed in (pushbutton protruding)

2. Loosen the mounting screws of the front plate.

3. Use the assembly equipment.

The assembly equipment is hooked in the bottom area of the sys-

tem control cabinet.

• Pull the spring-loaded locking pin as far as it will go to remove the

assembly equipment from the panel.

• Move the assembly equipment upwards. To do so, hold the spring-

loaded locking pin pulled as far as it will go.

• Align the assembly equipment with the lower edge of the DC power

module to be removed.

To do so, push the guide bolts of the assembly equipment into the

hole pattern of the side rails.

• Mount the assembly equipment at the same height.
