8.1 Replacing filter mats

Depending on the power and type, the system may feature filter mats. If a filter mat is inte-

grated, replace it regularly (see Section “Replacing components” on page 73).

The service life of the filter element depends on the pollution degree.

Procedure for filter replacement

The filter mat is attached to the inside of the system control cabinet door. To replace the filter

mat, you have to remove the filter frame.

• Loosen the six screws with a suitable Phillips screwdriver.

• Lift the filter frame upwards and pull it forward. The filter frame is guided in the keyholes.

• Remove the filter mat. Clean or dispose of the filter mat.

• Clean the inside of the perforated grid with a cloth.

• Insert the new filter mat into the filter frame.

• Hook the filter frame into the door using the keyholes. Make sure the filter frame is

mounted correctly.

• Screw the filter frame tight.

• Enter the filter replacement in the log book.
