8 Replacing components

DANGER: Danger to life from missing protective equipment

When working on the system, observe the correct scope and condition of your per-

sonal protective equipment.

DANGER: Danger to life from damaged plug-in contacts

Check the plug-in contacts of the DC power modules for external damage.

If the grounding contact is damaged, there is a risk of electric shock from discharge

current.

WARNING: Risk of crushing when inserting or removing DC power modules

There is a danger of crushing your fingers while inserting or removing the DC power

modules.

Make sure that the DC power module is moved in parallel to the side panel of the hous-

ing.

WARNING: Danger from heavy weight

As the DC power modules are very heavy, never handle or lift them on your own.

Preparation

– Procure the required replacement parts in advance.

– Observe all regulations, the accepted rules of engineering and DGUV regulation 3 as

well as corporate regulations.

To ensure failure-free operation, you can replace the following components (recommenda-

tion):
