6.4 Switching on

Switching on and booting of the DC power module is enabled via three procedures:

1. Front plate pushbutton

Pressing the front plate pushbutton on the DC power module (button pressed).

2. Remote OFF signals

The Remote OFF function uses an N/C contact. To enable the charging point, the con-

tact between the following terminal points has to be closed.

– Charging point 1 (DC power modules 1 and 2): terminal block X12.1/2

– Charging point 2 (DC power modules 3 and 4): terminal block X12.4/5

3. System configuration via the CAN bus

Configuration includes:

– Configuration of the charging parameters (charging voltage and current)

– Configuration of maximum values (for safety considerations)

– Enable configuration for starting the charging process

– Further coordinated parameters

The required data is transmitted to the system via a proprietary CAN bus. Phoenix Contact
