6.2 Checking the electrical connection

DANGER: Danger to life from electric shock

• Switch off all connections (AC and DC range).

• Make sure that none of the supplies can be switched on again.

• Before installation, check that there is no voltage present.

Please note:

A test report of the tests carried out in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600 or national reg-

ulations has to be available.

Within the framework of this test, the grounding resistance of the system has to be mea-

sured. The grounding resistance is a decisive factor for system safety.

The startup protocol supports you during startup. The work carried out has to be checked

before startup.

Requirements for startup

– All electrical connections established on site have to be checked for correct connection

and firm attachment.

– The entire electrical system has to be checked in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-600-

6 “Low voltage electrical installation” or national regulations.

Tests during startup

• Check that the connection is correct and according to the circuit diagram.

• Check the AC mains connection.

• Check the DC connection.

• Check the supply types of the copper bridges on site and change them, if necessary.

• Check that covers are installed correctly so that touch protection is ensured.

Measurements prior to startup

• Check the AC voltages on the system.

• Check the clockwise rotating field.

• Check the DC voltages.

– Check that polarity at all DC outputs is correct.

– Measure the voltage at each output and each position against ground.
