3.5 Protection concepts

For the safety of the connected consumers, the following monitoring and protective func-

tions are integrated in the system:

– Comprehensive self-test during system startup

– Temperature monitoring of main components

– Protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent

– EMC filter

The output current of the system is limited according to the following characteristic curve.
