2.5 Storage

NOTE: Damage to equipment from incorrect storage of components

Incorrect storage can lead to operating errors. Therefore, observe the specified con-

ditions.

Never store the system and the DC power modules outdoors unprotected or stacked.

We recommend storage in dry, dust-free rooms and away from chemical substances.

Storage temperature

The optimum storage temperature is between 0°C ... 40°C.

The storage temperature is -40°C ... 85°C. Temperatures must not fall below or exceed

these values.

Temperature fluctuations larger than 20°K per hour are not permitted.

Humidity

– To avoid condensation, make sure the system is not exposed to great temperature fluc-

tuations.

– Relative humidity of the system is 0% ... 95% (non-condensing). Relative humidity of

the power module is 5% ... 95% (non-condensing). Humidity must not fall below or ex-

ceed these values.

– If the system is stored at high humidity for a longer period of time, it has to dry more than

one day before it can be connected to a power grid.

– In case of longer temporary storage, cover the system with a foil. Avoid condensation.
