1.7.2 Safety marking in the service room

In the entrance area to the service room, safety signs that comply with the national regula-

tions have to be clearly visible. The safety signs warn of unauthorized access and show how

to behave in the service room.

In case of strong electromagnetic fields, install signs to prohibit persons with pacemakers

and metal implants.

According to the national regulations of IEC 60364-7-729, the operator is responsible for in-

stalling the system and putting up safety signs for hazardous incidents. This applies to fire

and escape drawings, escape routes, telephone numbers, and handling instructions.

Additional safety and warning labels are installed near the danger zones. These inform

about danger associated with work on the system.
