7. Soundbar behaviour and reset of the settings
Once the soundbar is connected to TV and it’s enabled in the professional setting it will follow the TV
behaviour related to standby and wakeup. Also the switch on settings will be applied on the soundbar
like “TV speakers”, “Sound Style” and the “Maximum Volume – TV Speakers” that can be found in the
“TV Settings – Sound” menu in the professional settings.
The Bluetooth connections will be removed on clearing of the data depending on the “Guest
Management – Clear User Data”.
8. JEDI/JAPIT interfaces
New JEDI/JAPIT interfaces are available related to the soundbar, the details can be found in the last
documentation package. If you never had this you can ask the team to provide it after signing an NDA.
If you already have an NDA in place you can ask your contact for the updated version.
9. Professional mode on the soundbar
Once the soundbar is successfully connected to the TV, it will go into a professional mode.
This means that the settings on the soundbar will be limited.
Compared to the available connections and buttons you will have following limitations:
• Only the standby, volume up and volume down keys will function on the soundbar, the source
button will not work for example
• Audio connection will only work over HDMI ARC. The AUX and optical audio will not work, also
the USB input for audio will not work
If for some reason the soundbar needs to be connected to another TV and needs to have full
functionality (non-professional mode) you can press the Standby key on the soundbar for 8 seconds
followed by pressing once on Volume up.
If for some reason the soundbar would not be in professional mode, you can enable this by pressing the
Standby key on the soundbar for 8 seconds followed by pressing once on Volume down.
