7 Wait until the Lungo button starts to blink fast and the Espresso button is on
continuously. The first phase of the descaling cycle has finished.
8 Remove and empty the container.
9 Place the container back under the coffee spout.
10 Remove the water tank and rinse it under the tap. Fill the water tank with
cold tap water and place it back in the machine.
11 Press the blinking Lungo button to start the flushing cycle.
12 While the machine is flushing, the Lungo button starts to blink slowly and the
Espresso button is on continuously.
Note: The water tank will be emptied without interruption.
13 When the flushing cycle is finished, the lights in the buttons will switch off.
The descaling procedure is finished.
