PACIFIER
For your child’s safety
WARNING!
- Inspect carefully before each
use. Pull the pacier in all
directions. Throw away at
the rst signs of damage or
weakness.
- Only use a pacier holder
that complies with local
regulations. Never attach
other ribbons or cords to a
pacier; your child may be
strangled by them.
- Always use this product under
adult supervision (Fig. 1).
- Philips Avent paciers come in
different sizes, based on age
range. Always make sure your
baby uses the correct pacier
size.
Before rst use
- Place the pacier in boiling
water for 5 minutes.
- Let the pacier cool down for
5 minutes before you give it
to your baby.
- Let remaining water inside
the nipple cool down and
then remove it by holding the
nipple upside down. This is to
ensure hygiene.
Cleaning and sterilization
- Clean the pacier with warm
water and mild soap before
every use.
- DO NOT use abrasive
cleaning agents or aggressive
chemicals/substances on
paciers.
- Excessive combinations of
detergents may eventually
cause damage or weakness.
If this occurs, replace the
pacier immediately.
- Paciers are suitable for all
commonly used forms of
sterilization.
- Clean surfaces and your
hands thoroughly before
contact with sterilized
paciers.
Using
- Replace the pacier after
4 weeks of use, for safety and
hygiene reasons.
- If the pacier becomes lodged
in the mouth, DO NOT PANIC;
it cannot be swallowed and
is designed to cope with such
an event. Remove from the
mouth with care, as gently as
possible.
- Never dip the nipple in sweet
substances or medication.
Your child may get tooth
decay.
Storage
- Do not leave pacier in direct
sunlight or near a source of
heat, or leave in disinfectant
(sterilizing solution) for longer
than recommended, as this
may weaken the nipple.

- Do not use the toy in
combination with a pacier
holder.
- Never attach other ribbons or
cords to a toy. Your child may
be strangled by them.
- Do not use the silicone tab on
the toy as a teether.
Washing instructions
for toy
- Remove the pacier from the
toy before washing the toy.
- Machine wash toy cold, gentle
cycle in mesh laundry bag.
- Allow to air dry.
