Never attempt to repair the TV yourself. Use the TV and

accessories only as intended by the manufacturer. The

caution sign printed on the back of the TV indicates risk

of electric shock. Never remove the TV cover. Always

contact Philips TV Customer Care for service or repairs.

in this manual, or any adjustments and assembly

procedures not recommended or authorized in this

manual, shall void the warranty.

Pixel characteristics

This TV product has a high number of color pixels.

Although it has effective pixels of 99.999% or more,

black dots or bright points of light (red, green or blue)

may appear constantly on the screen. This is a structural

property of the display (within common industry

standards) and is not a malfunction. Therefore, please

note that this is not subject to repair, exchange or

refund within and/or out of the warranty period.

Backlight characteristics

In certain circumstances of very dark color images or

black background, the TV may display uneven color on

screen, especially when the TV is in a dark environment

with little natural light or artificial light.

This is a common effect known as "MURA,"

"CLOUDING," or "LIGHT LEAK". Liquid Crystal Displays

(LCD) are equipped with a backlight that acts as a light

source to allow the image displayed on the screen to be

optimal in terms of colors, brightness, and contrast. Due

to the type of display (LCD) and the type of lighting it

receives, it may sometimes display certain areas brighter

than others. In this situation, uneven backlighting is not

considered a defect or deterioration of the TV, and the

product is within specifications. All Philips TVs undergo

strict testing before reaching our customers. The

"MURA," "CLOUDING," or "LIGHT LEAK" effects are not

considered a product failure and will not be covered

under warranty or free service, replacement or refund.
