UI screen Possible cause Solution
The display shows E3.
The appliance is operated
above the functioning
temperature.
Move the appliance to a cooler room. Do
not store, charge or use the appliance at a
temperature below 5 °C or above 40 °C.
The display shows E5. The
battery does not have enough
power to be switched on.
Connect the appliance again to the
charger. If the appliance still does not
charge, take it to a Philips service center or
contact the Consumer Care Center.
The display shows E9. There is a
problem with the nozzle.
Take it to a Philips service center or contact
the Consumer Care Center.
The display shows i4. The brush
is stuck or objects are stuck in
the air flow channel.
Make sure the appliance is switched off.
Clean the nozzle according to the user
manual and check the tube by removing
the tube from the main appliance. Remove
the object in the nozzle or tube and restart
the appliance.
The display shows i5.
Foreign object is stuck in the
airflow passage.
