Unpacking Machine
After lifting the machine out of the box and removing all packing material and the plastic bag, wipe the machine,
particularly around the needle and needle plate to remove any oil before sewing.
Note: Your Quilt Expression™ 725 machine is adjusted to provide the best stitch result at normal room temperature. Extreme hot
and cold temperatures can affect the sewn results.
Connect the Power Cord and Foot
Control
Power Supply Type #1
Power Supply Type #2
Among the accessories you will find the power cord and
the foot control.
The power supply unit used for your machine differs
between countries. Below both versions are described.
Use the description suitable for the power supply unit
delivered with your machine.
Note: Before plugging in the foot control, check to ensure that
it is type "FR5" (see underside of foot control).
Note: Only use the power cord supplied with your machine.
No other cord can be used. If the cord is damaged or lost, make
sure to replace it with the same type of cord, available at an
authorized PFAFF® dealer.
Power Supply Type #1
The power cord has a power supply unit (PSU) (A). The
fixed cord (B) attached to the PSU unit, should be
connected to the sewing machine. The loose cord (C)
should be connected to the socket (D) in the PSU unit
and then to the wall socket.
Connect the cord (B) to the rear socket (1) on the bottom
right side of the machine. Plug the power cord into the
wall socket.
Power Supply Type #2
Before using the machine for the first time an AC-plug
must be mounted to the power supply unit in order to
plug it into an electrical outlet. Slide on the correct AC-
plug until it clicks in place. Make sure the plug is firmly
attached.
Connect the cord (B) to the rear socket (1) on the bottom
right side of the machine. Plug the power cord into the
wall socket.
Foot Control and Power
Pull out the cord (E) from the foot control. Connect the
foot control cord to the socket (2) on the bottom right
side of the machine.
Press the ON/OFF switch (3) to "I" to turn on power
and light.
Pack Away After Sewing
1. Press the ON/OFF switch to "O".
