PREPARING FOR STORAGE
CLEANING THE EXTERIOR OF THE UNIT
1. Take an oil-free cloth and gently dust the
cabinet and the front of the unit to remove
any loose dirt or debris.
2. Prepare a cleaning solution using warm
water and a small amount of mild liquid
dishwashing detergent.
3. Dampen a cloth with the cleaning solution,
thenM carefully wipe down the surfaces of
the unit, including the cabinet and the front.
4. Next, use a clean cloth dampened with plain
water to rinse the surfaces, removing any
soap residue.
5. Dry the unit thoroughly with a soft, dry cloth
to prevent water spots or streaks.
6. Avoid using any harsh cleansers, wax, or
polish on the cabinet front, as these can
damage the nish.
7. Before wiping around the control panel,
make sure to wring out any excess water
from the cloth to prevent water from
getting into or around the controls, which
could cause damage.
PREPARE FOR STORAGE
Preparing the Unit for Storage or length of
time without consistent use:
Step 1 Drain the unit's water collection tray.
Step 2 Run the appliance on FAN mode for
12 hours in a warm room to dry it out and
prevent mold growth.
*Drain the unit‘s water collection
tray then reinstall the bottom
drain plug back in.

Step 3 Unplug the unit from outlet.
Step 4 Clean the exterior of the cabinet following
the separate instructions provided.
*Please refer to the actual
plug, and the legend is for
reference only.
Step 5 Clean the air lter according to the
instructions in the previous section. Reinstall the
clean, dry lter before storing the unit.
Step 6 Remove the batteries from the remote
control. (It is recommended to use new batteries
next season.)
NOTE: Store the unit in a cool, dark place to
protect it from direct sunlight or extreme heat,
which can shorten its lifespan.
