PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
No power.
Power indicator
light does not
turn on. Heater
does not
operate.
Plug is not fully
inserted into the outlet.
Ensure the power cord is rmly
plugged into a standard 120V AC
outlet with proper grounding.
Replace the outlet if it does not
meet safety requirements.
Power Switch Knob is
in OFF position.
Turn the Power Switch Knob to any of
the following settings: Fan Only, Low
600W, Middle 900W, or High 1500W.
Temperature Control
Knob is set too low or
not turned on.
Turn the Temperature Control Knob
clockwise to the highest position to
begin heating. The thermostat must
be adjusted to a warmer setting to
activate heating.
Unit is not placed on a
at, stable surface.
Make sure the heater is placed on a
level, at surface. An uneven position
may activate the tip-over safety switch
and prevent operation.
Heater
turns on but
shuts o
unexpectedly.
Overheat protection
has been activated
due to high internal
temperature or
blocked airow.
Allow the heater to cool completely
before using it again. Ensure the unit
is not obstructed and is used in a
well-ventilated area. Once cooled,
the heater may resume normal
function automatically.
Unit was tipped or
moved during use,
triggering the tip-over
safety switch.
Place the heater back in an upright
position on a stable surface. Once
upright, the unit may resume normal
operation.
Heater cycles
on and o
frequently.
The thermostat is
maintaining the set
temperature.
This is normal. The unit turns o
when the room reaches the set
temperature and restarts as
needed. To reduce cycling,
increase the thermostat setting.
Fan is working
but no heat is
coming out.
Power Switch Knob is
set to Fan Only mode.
Turn the Power Switch Knob to a heat
setting: Low 600W, Middle 900W, or
High 1500W. Heating will not occur in
Fan Only mode.
Heater
does not
respond after
repositioning
or resetting.
Tip-over switch or
thermal cuto has
not reset yet.
Wait a few minutes for internal
components to reset after the unit
has cooled or been returned upright.
Then try restarting the heater.
