■ Conditions of the subject change exposure values
The exposure requirements change according to the condition
of the lighting and the subject. Take test shots to determine the
exposure. Taking test shots is essential to proper use of manual
flash mode.
■ Compensating flash output with the mode dial
Use the mode dial to set the output of the flash. The mode dial
has seven positions, of which three, "FULL", "1/4", and "1/16",
are for manual flash mode.
■ Procedure
The camera needs to be in manual mode.
1 Turn the flash on.
2 Set the mode dial to "FULL".
3 Measure the subject distance (flash distance).
4 Use the subject distance guidelines (P.33) to determine a
combination of ISO sensitivity, mode dial setting, and
aperture.
5 Confirm that the READY lamp is lit, and take a picture.

撮影対象と撮影時の条件により、必要な露出値は変わります。
実際にテスト撮影を行って、露出を決定してください。マニュ
アル撮影モードではテスト撮影が欠かせません。
■ モードダイヤルでストロボの発光量を補正する
モードダイヤルで発光量の設定を行います。モードダイヤルに
は7つのポジションがありますが、マニュアルストロボモード
では「FULL」「1/4」「1/16」を使います。
■ 撮影手順
あらかじめ、カメラのモードをマニュアルにセットしてくださ
い。
1 ストロボの電源スイッチをONにする
2 ストロボのモードダイヤルを「FULL」に合わせる
3 撮影距離（ストロボの発光距離）を測る
4 撮影距離目安表（P.34）から、ISO感度・モードダイヤル・
絞り値の組み合わせを求める
5 READYランプが点灯していることを確認して、撮影する
