Cleaning
Activate the child lock before you start cleaning the hob. We recommend cleaning the
appliance after each use. This will prevent overcooked food from damaging the glass
plate.
Switch-off the appliance before cleaning.
The hob can be still very hot due to the cooking process! Preferably do not clean
the hob if the glass is too hot, because there is risk of burn. Do not touch the
surface directly. If desired use oven gloves to prevent burning while cleaning
directly after cooking.
Daily cleaning
• Remove light marks with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid diluted in a little water.
• Rinse with clean water and dry carefully.
• For stubborn stains, use a ceramic hob cleaner, as well as a suitable scraper with a blade.
Warning:
• Absolutely avoid highly aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents and materials that
can cause scratches, such as abrasive sponges, oven cleaners and stain removers.
• Do not ever use any steam-cleaner or pressure washer.
• Do not use any object that may scratch the ceramic glass.
• Ensure that the bottom of the pan is dry and clean. Lift cookware when moving it to
avoid scratching the cooking surface.
• Spillages of sugar, jam, jelly, etc. must be removed immediately. You will thus
prevent the cooking surface being damaged.
For your matte glass:
In case of persistent specifics marks and stain (food residues, dark and metallic marks):
• Use a ceramic hob cleaner.
• Let it sit 5 to 10 min.
• Clean with a clean microfiber cloth (in a circular movement with a moderate pressure).
• Rince with water.
• Wipe with a microfiber cloth.
